Beth Herbert, Chair of the Board

Beth Herbert is an education professional with over 15 years working in the field including higher education, secondary education, and the nonprofit sector. Beth has been employed as an Essay Specialist at Campus Bound since 2016, encouraging high school seniors to write strong college admissions essays. Prior to that, she worked in the nonprofit sector for years, most recently as Associate Director of the Boston Shakespeare Project. Beth also worked as a program associate/manager at Mass 2020 assisting public schools in redesigning their school day, and as a grant-writer for North Cambridge Catholic H.S. Before her NPO work, Beth taught high school English for a few years, and was employed by both Harvard and NYU researching and writing speeches. Beth has an MPA from Northeastern University, an MA from NYU, and a BA from Boston College.

Vicky Ferraro brings over 20 years of marketing, production, operational and management experience to her role as Executive Producer running Wave Studios, an international audio post-production company. In launching their first office in the US, she’s been responsible for project management, sales, PR, social media, and event planning, successfully generating brand awareness and building a strong customer base. Prior to this, Vicky ran the production studios of Hogarth (advertising), where she provided financial and technical oversight, along with planning and resource allocation for all productions. Additionally, Vicky has served as both volunteer and trip leader for Habitat for Humanity’s Global Village Program, organizing team recruitment, budgets, itinerary planning, and overall communication. Vicky earned her BS from Boston College.

Meg Lysy, Director of the Admissions Ambassador Program, has worked in Alumni Relations at Dartmouth College since September 2015. Prior to Dartmouth, she worked for ten years at Georgetown University as Senior Associate Director of Admission. While at Georgetown, in addition to being the New England regional admissions officer, her primary responsibility was managing the Georgetown’s Alumni Admissions Program. Meg also worked in admissions at the University of Chicago while receiving her Master's of Science in Education from Northwestern University in 2005. She graduated from Dartmouth College in 1999.
